Michael J. Marcus is a Senior Scientist and Principal of New England Environmental, Inc.(NEE), where he has worked since 1989.   He holds a Master's Degree in wildlife/zoology from the University of Maine.  

Mr. Marcus has worked on the restoration of ponds and aquatic habitats throughout Massachusetts and the Northeast States.   He is a Massachusetts Certified Pesticide Applicator with a Commercial Aquatic license, and works on the restoration of public and private ponds, lakes, and wetlands.  

Mr. Marcus has been used as an expert witness on wetlands and botanical work by the Massachusetts Attorneys General on environmental criminal cases, by the U.S. Department of Justice on Federal wetland restoration cases, and by many private entities.
