New England Environmental Inc. Bioengineering, also known as “soft engineering” is a technique that uses native plant materials and erosion control products to stabilize eroding slopes, waterways, and banks.  These techniques are used as an alternative to stone rip-rap, stone gabion baskets, concrete, or other “hard” engineering techniques. NEE has employed bioengineering on numerous golf courses.

From algae removal, water clarification or nutrient removal, NEE has an appropriate solution to manage all sizes of lakes, ponds and water hazards on golf courses.
