At NEE, Mr. Bohne works on small scale design, (single family home rain garden) and large scale (300 acre mixed-use development consisting of 10 bio-basin stormwater system, parking island rain gardens, residential bio-swales and rain gardens, open space trail networks, wetland restoration, mitigation, and replication, natural channel design, and wildlife habitat enhancement areas) He is experienced in commercial/residential landscape architecture, environmental impact site analysis on proposed development projects, environmental planning and feasibility studies, stream and river assessment and restoration, erosion control plans, stormwater impact and low impact development designs seamlessly blending the proposed work with the native environment. He has an extensive knowledge and base in CAD/GIS/GPS planning and graphic capabilities, using all aspects of the applications making a project extremely accurate and graphically readable for all public meeting and presentations. He is responsible for design and mapping plans associated with all permits and projects NEE completes in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act. He also completes plans and mapping associated with Commonwealth of Massachusetts 401 Water Quality Certification applications, Chapter 91, Construction General Permits for stormwater and permits for the Army Corp of Engineers (Programmatic General Permit).

At DTJ Design, Mr. Bohne had multiple responsibilities on projects including project management, designer, and document production. Mr. Bohne worked on a diversity of projects such as Resort Master Planning, Vacation Estates, Environmental Planning and Impact Analysis, Corporate Campus, Institutional Facilities, Community Planning, Open Space Master Plans, Community Clubhouse Design.

  • Responsible for managing, designing, and preparing all documents associated with projects from concepts to construction documents.

  • Responsible for mountain resort community master plan. Site analysis including, protection of view shed and corridors, natural resource protection and enhancement, community connections and greenway planning, using a cost matrix for the premiums that lots would get depending on the lots view, proximity to amenities, and exposure.

At HGOR Mr. Bohne was a team member working on site schematic design, master planning, zoning and tree protection plans, design development plans, hardscape and landscape cost estimating, contract documents (layout, grading and drainage, lighting, landscape design, detail and specifications), contract administration (bidding, contractor coordination, RFI’s, site visit documentation, punch lists, and certificate of substantial completion) and marketing booklets.
